WHERE GLASS BECAME A LANGUAGE
For Zahra Tootzari, glass is more than a material — it is a language shaped by light, color, form and space.
Her journey with glass began as an exploration of craft and gradually evolved into a distinctive artistic practice rooted in architecture. Over the years, she has developed an approach in which each work responds to its surroundings, becoming part of the identity and character of the space rather than simply an ornamental object.
From stained glass and decorative glass to architectural domes and curved forms, her work continually explores the relationship between craftsmanship and spatial design — allowing glass to move beyond the surface and become part of the architecture itself.

BEYOND THE FLAT SURFACE
Zahra’s practice explores the possibilities of glass beyond conventional boundaries — from stained glass and decorative surfaces to domes and complex curved forms.
Each piece is conceived in dialogue with its architecture, responding to proportion, structure and light to become an integral part of the space.

ART & DESIGN STUDIES
Began studying Handicrafts at Tehran University of Art, developing a foundation in art, design, color and material.
THE BEGINNING
Opened her own workshop and began working professionally with glass, creating artistic works and exploring its applications within architecture and interior spaces.
INTERIOR DESIGN
Entered a Master's program in Interior Design, strengthening the connection between her glass practice, spatial design and architectural thinking.
